Unbound Unpacked
Unbound Unpacked
For more than a quarter century, author Neal Lozano has brought the liberating message of "Unbound ministry" worldwide. His book Unbound: A Practical Guide to Deliverance was originally published in 2003 and has been translated into 22 languages, with nearly 400,000 copies in print. At live events, hundreds of trained teams have fruitfully ministered the Unbound model of deliverance in churches and conferences far and wide—not only at public gatherings, but through priest conferences, online training courses, individual Unbound sessions, speaking engagements, podcasts, and other media presentations.
Unbound Unpacked was born after author Neal Lozano received an invitation to speak in 2024 at a gathering in Rome entitled "The Course on the Ministry of Exorcism and Deliverance." Neal's two talks — "Unbound: A Non-Confrontational Approach to Deliverance" and "Unbound Principles and Practices" — were well received by the 200 attendees from nearly 50 nations gathered in the Eternal City. Now, his two-part presentation in Rome has been published for a wider audience.
As stated in the book's introduction, Neal's prayerful hope is that "interested clergy will find herein a pathway to deeper personal freedom and discover a model both for bringing liberation to the people they serve and for training the laity." While Unbound Unpacked provides a brief, distilled overview of the Unbound model of ministry, the short book offers much more than a skeletal outline. Neal puts flesh on the bones by not only explaining the "Five Keys" and other essential elements of Unbound ministry, but by including vivid testimonials of personal freedom and liberation by people who have experienced an Unbound session. He also includes online resources for further exploration.
In fulfilling his life's calling, Neal continues to delight in gaining more knowledge through his ongoing experiences, prayer, study, and travels with Unbound. He explains, "My deepest desire is that deliverance ministry can bring healing and restoration to the brokenhearted, freedom to the captive, and become a natural accompaniment to evangelization. My hope is that through effective training, priests and laity will be able to exercise their authority in the Lord and accompany fellow believers to greater freedom in Christ."
