At Prayer With the Saints

At Prayer with the Saints is a collection of hundreds of prayers composed by a variety of saints across the centuries and around the world. The prayers are categorized into four purposes--Prayers of Adoration, Prayers of Petition, Prayers of Sorrow, and Prayers of Thanksgiving--and show that even the saints had many of the same thoughts and struggled with many of the same problems that we do. Providing inspiration and reassurance, this compilation could serve as a daily devotional, an occasional prayerbook, or even a ready reference. Above all, it is imbued with the deep and abiding love that the saints had for their God.
