Description
Gabriel Garcia Moreno (1821-1875) was a model Catholic president of
Ecuador. He courageously founded a Republic upon Catholic principles
and publicly consecrated it to the Sacred Heart, and for this he was
martyred by paid assassins. This biography by Fr. Berthe is the most
complete and authoritative one in existence. It has been out of print
in English since 1889 when it was first published.
