The mission of Liguori Publications  is to spread the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world using print and electronic media.

All of our products are educational and pastoral in nature. Probably our most well known publication is the Liguorian magazine, one of America 's leading Catholic periodicals. We also publish parish Sunday bulletins, youth and adult catechetical materials for parishes and religious education programs, informational pamphlets, and both hard and soft cover books. Our works use direct and easily understandable language that aims to lead people to a deeper union with God through prayer, communion with each other, and a joyful practice of their faith.
In the mid-western part of the United States , Redemptorists began their publishing venture in 1913 with the Liguorian  magazine, mentioned above. Liguori Publications itself dates to 1947, when Redemptorists led by Father Donald F. Miller, C.Ss.R., purchased a 120-acre estate twenty-five miles south of St. Louis , Missouri . Shortly thereafter, " Liguori , MO ," became the only post office in the world named for Saint Alphonsus.

A frame house on the property served as an office until 1952, when ground was broken for the current publishing house. In 1964, an addition to the building tripled the size of the original Liguori Publications . Triumph Books was acquired in 1994 to expand Liguori's outreach into the trade market, evangelizing those who might not be regular church attendees.

Inspired by the spirit of Saint Alphonsus, Liguori Publications continues to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.
